Dialogues of
Silence
by Sabrina Lastman is an
interdisciplinary performance of voice, sound & movement. This new music
theatre piece is based on the poetry and inner world perception of Uruguayan
poet Idea Vilariño. In this performance, Vilariño’s existentialist poetry
meets music & sounds that create a world beyond the limits of the text’s
power. Dialogues of Silence consists of a solo vocal artist who translates
the poetic atmosphere into a dance & sound experience.

connects to the subliminal through the timbre languages of the voice, found
sounds, new and antiquated instruments & electronic devices. Using a sound
designer’s approach to performance composition that is steered by a penchant

El Consulado General de la
República Oriental del Uruguay en New York informa que el MIERCOLES 12 de AGOSTO
de 2009 se realizará un Consulado Móvil en la ciudad de Port Chester, New York.
El mismo tendrá lugar en 225 Westchester Avenue, Suite 403
Port Chester, NY 10573 y se atenderá al público en el horario de 10:00 a 15:00
horas, todas aquellas personas que concurran a realizar tramites deberán
inscribirse previamente.
En esa ocasión se atenderá a los ciudadanos uruguayos que requieran obtener o renovar pasaportes, extender permisos de menor y tramitar certificados de habilitación policial en Uruguay.
Los interesados en asistir deberán contactarse por mail a: clhlow@aol.com o conuruyork@conuruyork.org indicando el trámite que deseen realizar. Por la misma vía se le informarán los requisitos y costos del trámite y deberá posteriormente confirmar su asistencia el día del Consulado Móvil.
